Marketplace Return Terms
Default Returns Terms
Sellers often have specific returns and refunds policies, and sometimes these terms will vary by the type of item. We encourage sellers to specify their exact returns terms for every item they list. If the seller has specified their Returns Terms, you will see them spelled out in the SHIPPING & PAYMENT tab. If the seller does not specify return and refund terms, the following Default Returns Terms apply:
- Buyers may return any item that purchased for any reason within 7 days of the receipt of the item, in the same condition in which it was received. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping charges, and after the item is received, the seller will refund the buyer’s purchase price and original shipping. The seller may charge the buyer a restocking fee in the case of canceled orders
- If the buyer’s dissatisfaction is due to an error by the seller, the seller will refund the buyer’s purchase price, original shipping and the buyer’s reasonable return shipping charges. Refunds will be issued after the item has been received by the seller.
- In all cases, both buyers and sellers agree to work together to resolve differences directly first. For all unresolved issues, both buyers and sellers will use the PayPal Dispute Resolution Center.
